Am Mittwoch, den 12. September 2018 lädt die Java Usergroup Berlin-Brandenburg zusammen mit der Delivery Hero zum Vortrag Blockchain and Java mit Georg Köster, Topic Owner for Blockchain at SAP, ein.
The talk will be held in English.
Blockchain and Java (Georg Köster): The hype around cryptocurrencies has faded and Blockchain is finally considered for bringing trust to data beyond the currency ledgers. Let’s look together at the basics using a Java implementation and discuss possible use cases in our applications.
Georg Köster is topic owner for Blockchain at SAP’s ERP Cloud Platform Innovation unit and engineering manager in the LoB Real Estate, Georg Koester is on the forefront of enterprise software disruption. He has a background in Software Engineering, Business Studies and Design Thinking, having graduated from the Hasso-Plattner-Institute of Potsdam, Germany, and studied at the Design Thinking Schools in Potsdam and Stanford, USA. You can ask him why he considers smart contracts a virus that has infected the Blockchain community, and about learning Chinese or visiting the Burning Man festival in the US.
